Week done

Well the week has passed by slowly but surely. This week I've been in training, training to work in the Post Office here in the UK. The people that deliver mail here are the Royal Mail people, who was once owned and controlled by the Queen's family, many years ago. The Post office is like an outlet for them, they sell their stamps and their services. Well I'm in training to work on the register or till, that's what they call it here. Well it's been a week of training and it;s a cross between working at a bank and working at a stores register. There are soo many financial services they offer it's crazy. But it's been good so far, learned enough to be good after about 2 months of working.

I really don't have much to say about this week, been very boring having to drive back and forth to work in the right side of a car in the left lane. My mind is going to break down one day. Even when I'm driving I see myself driving on the other side of the street, while my body still has control enough to keep me on the left. I don't know how I keep my mind and body separated all the time. I'm telling you driving here is very weird. I'm not use to all the round-a-bouts. I received directions on how to get to the training place, and they tell you to turn left, turn right, but there are like 3 to 4 different exits on a round-a-bout. So I find myself going in circles because I think I've missed my exit and need more time to read the signs by them. That happened the first 2 days driving, now I'm a expert. But I'm use to one off ramp and then a left and a right, or one on ramp to the highway. Trust me is you every come here and attempt to drive anywhere yourself, plan ahead of time, like 2 hours ahead, I guarantee you will take a wrong exit or turn and will be driving in the wrong direction and not even know it. Then the exits are like 5 or 6 miles apart, yes they are I swear. I passed my exit one day and want to turn around and still got lost because the round-a-bouts might not let you make a u-turn, it might lead you to another road all together. Now that's some UK shit.

But I sit here watching The Simpsons, cooking my dinner, and getting my Hine chilled ready to drink after dinner, yes ladies I can cook. I soon will be cooking my Jamaican foods for myself soon. As soon as my money starts rolling in. Peace!!
