My trip to Stonehenge.......

What a trip/task I underwent today, a total of 320 miles and 6 hours of mostly driving. For those who read an earlier blog I've written, yes I'm still driving illegally in the UK. Yes it's a big risk, but what the hell I'm living my life. Anyway I started out on my trip, thoroughly mapped out as I always do, but the time I wanted to go was three hours off. Wanted to start the road trip at 6am, but left around 9:30am. But it's ok I made it at a decent time. I talked with my cousin earlier about where to go, and he mentioned a few places, but he seemed to emphasize on it's better in the summer time. I kept saying to myself I don't care what time of year it is, it will still be the same. But now I know what he means when he said that. The rain, the fog, more rain, more fog, DAMN IT!!!!!!!

This was truly the worst driving experience I have ever had. Plus the car I'm illegally driving is crap. Well it was basically a straight forward route, but I missed a few turns because I thought I passed the place. The British highway system confuses me like crazy. I truly can't stand round-a-bouts. I'm use to off ramps, then either turn left or right, not around this circle and this circle takes you to another circle and then the third road is where to go. Just a bit too much for me. I wish someone was driving me because I missed many photo opportunities, especially one on the approach to Stonehenge. I was going downward on a hill, and you can see it from the road. An instant smile came over my face, a place we have all heard about I finally got to see. But the picture I could have took was great.

I took the audio tour, which was great, usually when I go to tourist attractions I just do my own thing walk around take some photos and leave, not learning or really experiencing anything. But that will all change now. I learned a bit more, marveled at how it was built and how it looked, that took about 45 minutes. That was cool, just the right amount of time I wanted to spend there anyway. Then I took my almost 3 hour drive back in the rain and the fog, and oh, more rain and fog. Fuck!

Well tomorrow is another adventure, and maybe another one on Friday, Peace!!!

Looks like you have been spammed. Guess you'll have to plan a summer trip back with someone to take pics for you ;)

Well Muffin the photo I got from the web, when I develop mine it will replace that one. Well I'm selling the car soon, and leaving the UK in January, but will still try and get a uk license.
