Ain't that some UK shit.......
Well to tell the truth I'm not sure if it is some UK shit, but I personally never heard of it. I just found out today that we get paid monthly, now that shit just fucked up my whole budget. Yeah I got a budget, I moved here on some savings and budgeted it down to the day, well it was budgeted for rent if I missed any. Well it happens that I was out of work for 2 weeks while paying rent, so that makes me 2 weeks behind on my rent budget. Then I started my training to work at the post office here, then I asked them how often we get paid, thinking its on a 2 week, the most basis. But nooooooooooooooo it fucking monthly. Yo rent is due the 15th of every month, and I set up a direct debit from my account, so they can't play that you paid late game on me. But I dipped in my savings since I thought it would be a month till I seen some more money, but nooooooooo, they on some 4 week shit. So that means that since I started the 26 of last month I will get my first check around that day, which is past the rent due date, if anyone missed that. Now right now I had it planned for the money t come either this friday, now I have to dip again, damn! I'm not complaining, but if they fucking told me I would have hustled some money from somewhere else.
Now I ask have anyone had a job that pays monthly?? I'm saying what if this was my first job and I had no money, if you wait a whole 30 day till you hit me off with my hard earned money and I couldn't afford to work 4 weeks for you what would happen? Someone please educate me on this shit. It bad enough that 2 weeks most people wait, but 4, Now that's some UK shit, or is it?

Damn...that's not ther first I've heard of that. Companies make a killing on the taxes...while you just get killed (Your bank account that is). Well I used to get paid every 2 weeks...but now it's on some old 15th and 30th of the month, expect when there are 31 days in a month...and when the 15th or 30th land on a non-working day. Matter of fact, most us of don't know when we get paid.

nick, i don't know what it's like to get paid once a month but i'll be damned. unless it's something like my boss makes, 10K/month then i'm straight. but no, i make no where near that, so i can't deal with getting paid once a month. fugg all that.
Trust me I would not mind if I was paid week for at least the first month or so and then they started that, but to start a new job and wait 30 days to get paid, if I was broke I would not be eating or going no where. Shit man. I might as well stay the fuck home so I won't use up any energy and have to eat food.
I might have to hit one of you up for a quick loan, remember the exchange rate, Hook a brother upppppppp!
